As Adobe Creative Resident: inclusive design at the V&A Museum 2025 running alongside the Design and Disability exhibition. I worked for 11 months at the V&A within the Learning department and other programming teams. Below is a selection of various images from events during the year.

Design and Disability Schools resource: for teachers to use in the classroom. It is a PDF that is downloadable on the V&A website under schools resources about 10 objects with facts, visual descriptions, discussion questions and creative activities. All of the objects are in the V&A collection and most are not displayed in the Design and Disability exhibition. This resource will still be available to be used after the exhibition closes. There is also a section on the Social Model of disability, an activity to manage disability slurs in the classroom and an interview with me.
Open Studios: over the year we had monthly open studios where I designed activities for people to drop in. During the year we slowly turned my studio into a floral greenhouse inspired by the artworks of Nerys Johnson, creating a flower garland, stained glass window and wallpaper.
Be an Inclusive Designer school resource: I collaborated with students at Pinc College Adobe Creative resident 2024 Rachel Sale to create this resource to be used by schools during their visits to the V&A. The illustrated activity sheet is to support students and teachers to think about inclusive design within spaces at the V&A and to think about what would make them feel welcome during their visit.
Design and Disability themed Family half term event: I devised ‘Build, Connect and Create’ for families to meet through making collaborative sculptures inspired by the ‘Interslot’ toy, created by educator and designer Roger Limbrick. Together we made unicorns, rockets, people, dogs, cars, castles and more.
Teachers Sanctuary: I gave a presentation about my work and the Design and Disability school resources and we then visited the exhibition. Afterwards I facilitated a workshop where we painted with tissue paper and made own painting tools in the style of Nerys Johnson.
Accessible by Design: building inclusive, immersive experiences panel talk. I devised and list of speakers and spoke alongside: Natalie Kane, V&A Curator, Digital Design (chair), Sacha Wares, Theatre/XR Director and Founder of Trail and Error Studio, Harshadha Balasubramanian, Anthropologist at UCL and Digital Access Consultant in Arts and Heritage, Ben Glover, Creative Captioner, Ashley James Brown, Artist, Educator and Creative Technologist.

Friday Late: Radical Kinship. I created an intervention called ‘How was your Journey?’ where I had over 60 conversations with visitors about our journeys to the V&A and about access to travel whilst having a rest at the temporary bus stop. Some visitors stopped for a chat, some for a rest and others asked actual travel questions.
Home education day: I facilitated a workshop where we painted with tissue paper and made own painting tools in the style of Nerys Johnson.
